Taxi

In Torquay the main taxi ranks are located at the Harbour, opposite
Tesco Express in the centre of town and at Torquay train station. In
Paignton the main taxi rank is located at the train station in the town
centre and in Brixham the main taxi rank is located in the town centre
by the main car park.
Train
Regular rail services run from Torquay train station to Paignton and
also to Newton Abbot where connections can be made to Exeter, Totnes and

The Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway run trains from Paignton to
Kingswear. From here it is a short ferry trip to the river town of
Dartmouth. Combined tickets can be bought to include train and ferry and
'Round Robin' fares are also available to include train from Paignton to
Kingswear, ferry to Dartmouth, River Cruise to Totnes and then open top
bus return to Paignton. For more information visit the

Ferry
The
Western Lady Ferry service
can take you from Torquay across to Brixham, and Neptune Cruises (Tel:
01803 882 622) offer trips across the Bay and along the River Dart; a
relaxed and hassle free way to explore. Ferry fares can be booked at a
number of ticket offices located around Torquay harbour.
Car Parking
There are plenty of car parking facilities on the English Riviera.
Torbay Council operates 43 Car parks across Torquay, Paignton and
Brixham, providing over 8,000 spaces with the majority of our car parks
using the pay and display system.
Weekly car parking permits, for use in all Torbay Council pay and
display car parks, can be purchased from the
English Riviera website.
